Tube Top Dresses as Long Skirts

My friend Hanaan, who is also tall, told me while we were shopping one day that I should use tube top dresses as long skirts. Genius!

I can hardly ever find long skirts in stores. I usually have to buy long skirts online, buy them at a special convention, or make them myself. But since hearing that advice I’ve been able to find “long skirts” almost everywhere.

If you’re tall, next time you’re shopping try on a tube top as a skirt. The stretchy top is perfect for fitting all shapes. They function as regular long skirts if your top covers the stretchy top part AND as high-waisted long skirt if your top is tucked in.

In this photo, I’m wearing the dress as a high-waisted skirt. I’ve added a kimono to make it more modest and to hide my gifted backside. 😉 Try adding a thick belt if you’re uncomfortable with the look of the stretchy top.
